State Fair Park Re-Opens; 2021 Central Washington State Fair Set for September

PER KIMA: The Sate Fair Park in Yakima is officially back open for business! State Fair Park in Yakima is once again open for events, which includes this year’s Central Washington State Fair. “Yes, business as usual,” State Fair Park president Kathy Kramer said. “We are planning and going to deliver the 2021 Central Washington State Fair.” Last year because of COVID-19 they were forced to cancel the Central Washington State Fair. Kramer says they’re happy to re-open State Fair Park and make plans for this year’s event. Barring any changes, the Central Washington State Fair will be open this year at unlimited capacity and with no restrictions. But, you don’t have to wait until September to enjoy the food and attractions at State Fair Park. The spring Fair Food Fest will be at State Fair Park from June 10-13. As plans for the state to re-open officially as of June 30 th, some of the activities which have been curtailed if not canceled altogether during the pandemic have a greenlight from Governor Inslee and plans have begun to get several balls rolling.
