The DOH said it has distributed more than 190,000 supplemental PPE supplies to 13 government hospitals in the National Capital Region (NCR), as well as over 500,000 supplies to eight Centers for Health Development (CHD) across the country from March 18 to 31.
“The DOH is also currently prioritizing the delivery of PPE supplies to hospitals and CHDs in high and critical-risk areas to immediately replenish their stocks and provide constant protection of healthcare workers from the viral transmission,” it said in a statement.
According to the DOH, 7,000 sets of 210,000 assorted PPEs, N95 masks and heavy duty gloves were distributed to CHDs in Metro Manila on March 23.
