John W. Warner, a Republican U.S. senator for 30 years who led Virginiaâs congressional delegation and whose marriage to actress Elizabeth Taylor brought a dash of glamour to Virginia politics, has died. He was 94.
Mr. Warner died of heart failure Tuesday night at home in Alexandria with family at his side.
A nationwide study has found that about 10,000 people became infected with the coronavirus after they had been fully vaccinated and 2% of those patients died.
Unlike a few other academic institutions around the state, Lake Superior State University does not presently plan to require students to provide proof of vaccination for students living on-campus.
