Hong Kong: Govt identifies 1 COVID-19 case The Centre for Health Protection today announced that an outsourced staff member working at its Temporary Specimen Collection Centre at Hong Kong International Airport has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member is responsible for receiving travellers arriving in Hong Kong via the airport at the specimen collection centre, and last performed duties on December 23. He wore appropriate protective equipment while performing duties and his body temperature was normal when undergoing temperature screening during work. The centre immediately commenced epidemiological investigations and conducted contact tracing on the case. It will also arrange testing for relevant individuals.
