Economy The Economic Survey for 2020-21 is set to be tabled in Parliament on January 29, ahead of the upcoming Budget presentation. The report is prepared by the Economics Division of the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the guidance of the Chief Economic Advisor (CEA). Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the report in Parliament, following which CEA KV Subramanian will hold a press conference at 2.30 pm. The Economic Survey is usually presented a day ahead of the Budget. This year, it will be released earlier since the Budget for FY21 will be presented on February 1, which is a Monday.
