On a night when Seton Hall struggled mightily on the offensive end, “Mamu” took over.
Sandro Mamukelashvili went for 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists including the 1,000th point of his career as the Pirates won their fourth straight with a 60-52 victory over DePaul at Prudential Center.
Jared Rhoden added 17 points on 5-of-15 shooting and Myles Cale scored 11 on 4-of-9 shooting for a Seton Hall team that shot 22-of-59 (37%) from the field and 8-of-26 (31%) from deep. With the win, the Pirates improved to 13-8, 10-5 in the Big East. They are guaranteed to finish above .500 in the Big East.
