The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its November 2020 booked orders increased by 43.5% when compared to November 2019 booked orders. However, November 2020 booked orders decreased by 52.86% compared to October 2020 booked orders.
November 2020 booked orders for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 4.2% compared to October 2020 booked orders. November 2020 booked orders for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 59.41% when compared to October 2020.
CEMA’s November 2020 billed sales (shipments) increased by 25.6% compared to November 2019 billed sales. November 2020 billed sales increased 0.14% compared to October 2020 billed sales. This contrasts with the October 2020 decrease of 6.81% when compared to September 2020.
