Mexican Beauty Queen Among Those Arrested in Kidnap Gang

A Mexican beauty queen was among eight people arrested on Thursday on suspicion of being involved with a kidnapping gang. According to Mexico News Daily, Laura Mojica Romero, 25, has been jailed without bail for allegedly being a part of a kidnapping ring that operates in Veracruz and Oaxaca. Authorities reportedly said that Romero and seven others had been arrested in a raid conducted by a federal anti-kidnapping unit following two months of investigation. Prosecutors said that Laura Mojica Romero and the other suspects were allegedly involved in a criminal organization connected to multiple kidnappings. Crime Online reported that the Mexican beauty queen was arrested with two other women and five men. On Saturday, a judge ruled that Romero and seven other kidnapping suspects will remain in prison for the next two months as the investigation continues.

Mexican Border State Cops Kidnapped Teens for Cartel, Investigators Say

The police officers are accused of delivering the minors to members of a cartel. The said underage teens are still missing and relatives and locals demand the return of the kidnapped teens, according to a Breitbart exclusive report. The two minors were detained by Tamaulipas state police officers last week for a traffic violation in Ciudad Mier. The police then took them to the nearby border city Miguel Aleman, where they were said to be released to the Gulf Cartel. Relatives and locals in Ciudad Mier held protests and were demanding the safe retrieval of the two teens. The said minors were aged 14 and 13-years-old, according to another Breitbart report.

Immigrants Deported, Includes 4,000 Known and Suspected Cartel Members

A new report from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement showed that more than 4,000 known or suspected gang members this year were deported, including those members of MS-13 gang. The 2020 ICE report also showed that a total of 185,884 immigrants were deported during U.S. President Donald Trump s administration, according to a Fox News report. In that number, 64 percent had either criminal conviction or criminal charges. A total of 399,235 were illegal immigrants. The report added that 4,276 were known or suspected gang members. This includes 675 known or believed to have been a member of the brutal gang MS-13. In addition, 31 were known or suspected terrorist.
