2 UK shares I d avoid at all costs - The Motley Fool UK

US$12.3 TRILLION out of thin air… And if you click here we’ll show you something that could be key to unlocking 5G’s full potential. There were 10,000 complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service in the second half of 2020. These claims cost the business £25m.  While PFG is trying to work out a plan to deal with these issues, it’s also facing an investigation from the Financial Conduct Authority. These are two severe headaches for the firm, and they’re unlikely to go away anytime soon. Shareholders may have to foot the bill if claims exceed Provident’s resources.

Will the Taylor Wimpey share price be a winner in 2021?

Will the Taylor Wimpey share price be a winner in 2021? More on: FTSE 100‘s housebuilders, like Taylor Wimpey(LSE: TW), fell so hard in the 2020 stock market crash. Sure, lockdowns made it a lot harder for people to move house, and that was certain to have an adverse effect on profits. But did the Taylor Wimpey share price really deserve to lose more than 50% in the early months of Covid-19? What’s more, in the UK we’ve been in the grip of a housing shortage for decades.

Should I buy musicMagpie (MMAG) shares?

Should I buy musicMagpie (MMAG) shares? Image source: Getty Images The wave of new companies coming to the market continues apace. The latest new-stock-on-the-UK-block is re-commerce business musicMagpie. Trading of its shares began today on the (junior) AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. As someone who only very recently used its services and loves small-cap stocks, I’m keen to look into the investment case for the company. Should I buy MMAG shares today? What is musicMagpie? Founded in 2007, musicMagpie is a dream for anyone who likes to declutter. It specialises in “ refurbished consumer technology“. It takes the stuff we no longer want including smartphones, video games consoles, CDs and DVDs and then sells it on. Previous owners get some fuss-free cash for their unwanted things and the company pockets the (often sizeable) difference between what it pays to acquire them and what it goes on to sell them for.
