According to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, at 9:31 p.m. Jan. 16, Manalapan police officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 9 north in Manalapan. The location of the crash was just south of Smallwood Lane at the entrance to the Monmouth Heights residential development. An investigation by the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team and the Manalapan Police Department determined that a 2004 Infiniti G35 was traveling north on the state highway when the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the road, according to the prosecutor’s office.

The investigation by the Monmouth County SCART Team and Manalapan Police Department revealed that a 2004 Infiniti G35 was traveling northbound when the driver lost control and left the roadway, prosecutors said. A former Monmouth County probation officer is heading to prison for the next decade after being sentenced Thursday for sexually assaulting a woman he was supposed to be supervising on Drug Court probation and for making false representations to the Court, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni. Henry Cirignano, 48, of Wall Township, who was an 18-year veteran of the New Jersey State Probation Department in Monmouth, was sentenced by Ocean County Presiding Criminal Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels in Toms River. As part of this sentence, Cirignano has to serve 6 years, 9 months and 20 days before becoming eligible for any release on parole.
