He explained there was one outstanding item as part of the brief of evidence that had been delayed due to the police officer involved being on extended leave. Mr Hanlon was seeking at adjournment to progress the matters. Police prosecutor Sergeant Paul Cramp said he had spoken to the arresting officer and Mr Hanlon could expect the additional materials within the fortnight. A Central Queensland teenagerâs quick thinking saved the life of his friend who suffered a drug overdose at Nebo.
Samuel Caleb Christensen, 19, and CJ Warren Single, 18, fronted Moranbah Magistrates Court on March 11 for three drug-related offences.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Paul Cramp said police and paramedics were called to a Water Street address at Nebo on October 2, 2020, in response to a reported drug overdose.
Christensen called triple-0 after Single took acid, the court heard.
Queensland Ambulance Service aided Single, who suffered a drug induced episode and was taken to Mackay Hospital.
On arrival at the Nebo address, Police located 27 cannabis seeds, 1.8g of cannabis buds, two pipes and a bag containing a single tab of acid (LSD), Sergeant Cramp said.

A Mackay-based tradesman lost his licence while he was in Moranbah for work after being caught drink driving.
Deon Wesley Ryan, 39, pleaded guilty at Moranbah Magistrates Court on March 11 to driving while over the middle alcohol limit but not over the high alcohol limit.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Paul Cramp said Ryan was intercepted by police about 9.30pm on January 28, after being seen driving out of the Black Nugget Hotel car park.
He took part in a random-breath test and later returned a Blood-Alcohol Content reading of .137, well over the middle alcohol limit while on a P2 driver’s licence, the court heard.
