Sedalia Police Reports For February 24, 2021 This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop on a black GMC SUV, as the vehicle performed improper lane use and had expired license plates. The traffic stop took place in the area of East Broadway Boulevard and South Montgomery Avenue. Officers spoke to the driver, and then performed a computer check through Dispatch. It was learned she had three active confirmed warrants from Pettis County. Two were felony Failure to Appear warrants for Burglary, with a combined bond of $10,000 cash or surety, and one was a misdemeanor warrant for Fraud, with a $100 cash only bond. Amy L. Radford, 39, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where her court date is to be determined.

Series of Suspicious Brush Fires Under Investigation

The first call for brush fires came in to the Arenzville Fire Department at 7:57PM Saturday night near Crooked Lane South in rural Arenzville. At 8:03PM, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department and Meredosia Fire Department received a report of a grass fire in the 2300 block of St. Paul’s Church Road in rural Arenzville. At 8:12PM, West Central Dispatch received a report of another brush fire near the intersection of Poor Farm Road and Stricker Road in rural Jacksonville.
