Last month, the campus’ food service provider, Chartwells, officially unveiled Govs To Go – Mobile Ordering with Transact. “We know time is valuable, and our students want quick and convenient options that work with their busy schedules,” Corey Choate, senior director of Dining Services, said. “The Transact app was specifically designed to give our guests an even more convenient and personalized experience in our retail operations.” With the Transact app, two campus eateries – Burger 931 and Tù Taco – are currently accepting mobile orders from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Clarksville-Montgomery County s school board is weighing a proposal for a substantial raise for director of schools Millard House. House s proposed new salary is $230,000  a raise of $65,000. On Tuesday, the school system s attorney presented a proposed contract to the school board. It s expected to take action at next week s school board meeting, where across-the-board pay raises for all school system employees are also on the agenda.

Former Ward 2 Clarksville City Councilman Deanna McLaughlin was elected to the office of Chairman replacing former Ward 10 Clarksville City Councilman Bill Summers. US Army Veteran and current Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputy Sheriff Brian Lynch was elected to the office of Vice-Chairman replacing current District 14 Montgomery County Commissioner Joshua Beal. CW5 (Ret) Doug Englen was elected to the office of Treasurer replacing Deanna McLaughlin. US Army Veteran, former police officer, and founder of the Crime Watch Clarksville Facebook Group Ryan Moeller was elected to the office of Secretary replacing Brian Lynch.
