May 10, 2021 Share From today, 7 more centres will become operational in Delhi for free distribution of AYUSH 64. Those COVID-19 patients who are in home isolation or are staying at some government/NGO arranged isolation centres can benefit from this initiative of the Ministry of Ayush.  Patients or their representatives can visit these centres with the hard or soft copies of the patient’s RT PCR positive report and Aadhar Card to get a free pack of AYUSH 64 tablets. Replenishment, if and when required, will also be provided free of cost. Union minister Kiren Rijiju launches 100-day countdown to 7th International Day of Yoga India Published: Saturday, March 13, 2021, 20:08 [IST] New Delhi, Mar 13: Union minister Kiren Rijiju Saturday launched the 100-day countdown to the 7th International Day of Yoga and gave a line-up of all the activities that the government has planned for the occasion. The International Day of Yoga (IDY) is celebrated on June 21 every year. Rijiju, the Minister of State for AYUSH, said in a statement that Yoga has vast potential for employment opportunity, especially after the declaration of Yogasana as a competitive sport. He said the Ministry of AYUSH, which is the nodal Ministry for IDY in India, has initiated a host of activities aiming to motivate as many people as possible to participate in IDY activities.

Launching 100 days countdown to 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY) at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) here, Rijiju said that Yoga has vast potential of employment opportunity, especially after the declaration of Yogasana as a competitive sport. Rijiju has been temporarily assigned the charge of the Ministry of AYUSH since Shripad Yesso Naik has been undergoing treatment following an accident.
