OSDH: 359 New COVID-19 Cases, 24 More Virus-Related Deaths Reported

By: LeighAnne Manwarren Twenty-four more virus-related deaths and 359 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. A total of 420,212 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 4,227, the state health department said on Tuesday. The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 776, the state health department said. As of Friday, 681,466 total vaccine doses have been administered and 893,550 total doses have been received by the state. More than 204,000 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations. Out of the 24 deaths reported, 16 happened since Jan. 1, the state health department said.
