A woman has been charged as investigations continue into three separate arson attacks at supplement stores across Sydney over the past two years.
Detectives from the Financial Crimes Squad’s Arson Unit established Strike Force Calinda to investigate three alleged arson attacks at supplement stores between July 2019 and November 2020, which are believed to be targeted and linked.
The incidents include –
About 1.30am on Thursday 25 July 2019, emergency services were called to a business at Queens Street, St Marys, following reports of a fire. The blaze was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW and the business sustained significant damage. No injuries were reported during the incident. Police were told, two men had been seen allegedly attempting to enter the premises, before breaking through the security shutters and setting the business on fire. The pair were last seen fleeing the area on foot

A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly repeatedly stabbing his off-duty police officer ex-wife outside a suburban home as terrified neighbours watched on helplessly.
The woman, 46, was allegedly attacked as she tried to get help from a neighbour on Aberdeen Place in Stanhope Gardens in Sydney s north-west about 8pm on Monday evening.
Police allege a witness intervened before her ex-husband, 48, fled into bushland - where he was tracked down by police and arrested.
CCTV footage had captured the woman sprinting from a parked car and him allegedly chasing after her.
Further vision showed a man walking shirtless across the road towards nearby parkland before being pursued by police officers.
Constable Tina Davis, 46, ran for her life through Stanhope Garden in Sydney s north-west at about 8pm on Monday before Simon Allan Davis allegedly knifed her outside his home.
