JACKSONVILLE – The inactives list was short and unsurprising.
Sidney Jones IV, a starting cornerback who had been ruled out Friday, was among five players the Jaguars made inactive Sunday 90 minutes before kickoff of their game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.
Jones, who was made inactive with an Achilles injury, missed three consecutive games before starting last week s loss to the Tennessee Titans.
The Jaguars four other inactives Sunday: rookie quarterback Luq Barcoo, linebacker Quincy Williams, defensive tackle Daniel Ross and rookie quarterback Jake Luton. Related Content

JACKSONVILLE – Myles Jack opted out of the question.
That s understandable, because the question was about whether he has had a Pro-Bowl caliber season – and the Jaguars weak-side linebacker isn t given to self-promotion.
So, has he had a Pro Bowl year? I don t know, Jack said Thursday as the Jaguars (1-12) prepared to play the Baltimore Ravens (8-5) at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., Sunday at 1 p.m. I think that kind of (equates) to wins and that s kind of like a fan thing.

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars cornerback issue continues.
So does their roster turnover.
Jaguars cornerback Sidney Jones IV, who missed three consecutive starts with an Achilles issue before starting this past week, will miss Sunday s game at Baltimore. The Jaguars ruled Jones out Friday.
Tre Herndon, who started opposite Jones last week, is in the team s COVID-19/Reserve list and must clear COVID-19 protocols to play Sunday.

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars defense hasn t quit. And it has progressed.
Defensive coordinator Todd Wash on Thursday said the latter has been his biggest takeaway from a 2020 season during which the defense has struggled at times and improved throughout. They ve gotten better; that s the biggest thing, Wash said Thursday as the Jaguars (1-12) prepared to play the Baltimore Ravens (8-5) at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., Sunday at 1 p.m.
