(CNSNews.com) - Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, on Tuesday said the phrase herd immunity is elusive terminology. I think we should just forget about that, Fauci told MSNBC s Nicolle Wallace, who asked him to clarify if the goal of mass vaccination is herd immunity (she said herd mentality, then corrected herself).

BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris marked the 100th day of the Biden-Harris administration by touring a vaccination site in Baltimore.
Harris greeted and thanked patients who were being vaccinated at M&T Bank Stadium and asked them to encourage others to get vaccinated as well.
The vice president also thanked frontline workers for their services, “ Here in Baltimore, you guys are doing amazing work.”
Harris was joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci, MD, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Maryland Governor Larry Hogan; Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen.

Vice President Kamala Harris told an audience Thursday just how dark things she felt things were in America when she first took office.
“Our Democracy was under assault and our Capitol had just been attacked by insurgents,” she said, referring to supporters of former President Donald Trump storming Capitol Hill on January 6th.
The line from Harris shares a similar message from President Joe Biden’s address to Congress on Wednesday, as he described the riot on Capitol Hill as “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”
Harris spoke after visiting a vaccination site at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore and declared significant progress for the Biden administration in its first 100 days.
President Biden and Ms. Harris are touring America to pitch an agenda that’s polling well but angering Republicans, who say the White House is spending with abandon and has failed to unify Washington as promised.
Ms. Harris toured the vaccination site with Sen. Chris Van Hollen, Maryland Democrat, and Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health before delivering a speech in support of Democrats’ trillion-dollar plans.
Ms. Harris said the massive coronavirus-relief package that Democrats muscled through Congress has helped Americans pay their bills.
“Some said it was too big, but we went for it anyway. And the American people rallied around it,” she said.
