BALTIMORE, Md. â Like many around the world, a Baltimore woman says COVID-19 took away her chance of having a dream wedding.
Sarah Studley was supposed to tie the knot at Balboa Park in San Diego, California.
Instead, she had to settle for a small local ceremony, with only immediate family in attendance.
On Sunday, Studley decided to pull her wedding gown out of storage and wear it to her vaccination appointment at M&T Bank Stadium.

Sarah Studley, 39, from Baltimore, wore her wedding reception dress when she got her COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday.
She decided to wear the white tulle-over-satin dress with polka dots because her original wedding reception was canceled twice due to the pandemic, The Baltimore Sun reported. I had this dress in my closet and I figured, ‘This seems like a good moment for celebration,’ Studley told The Sun.
Pictures of Studley wearing her reception dress while getting her vaccine were posted on social media by the University of Maryland Medical Systems (UMMS) on Monday.

Baltimoreâ The M&T Bank Stadium Mass Vaccination Site will offer same- day, walk-up vaccinations beginning Friday, April 9, 2021. A limited number of 200 walk-up vaccination slots will be available each day, seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding Orioles day game dates when parking lots are expected to be full.

Johns Hopkins University is recruiting and organizing nonclinical volunteers to support the vaccination clinic at M&T Bank Stadium in an effort to increase the number of Marylanders who are protected against COVID-19.
