Venturing into the world of resin creations, East London artist Angelique van Rooyen has spent the past two years practising and perfecting the creation of some magical art and décor. The graphic designer by day, whose artistic brand Avara Creative sees her create a range of traditional artworks as well as décor and craft items, said she first dabbled in the popular resin art trend in 2019.

Playing his first live show in East London since Covid-19 hit SA, local musician Jason Gladwin will bring his tunes to the Old Selbornian Club on Friday night. Joined by saxophonist Lara Thomas and bassist Sven Raju, Gladwin is looking forward to entertaining his hometown. “I am super excited to be coming home for this show.
