Motorists driving by 511-515 Elm Street on Route 1 in Biddeford, Maine, will see a big red fence fronting the road these days. Behind the fencing, huge pieces of heavy equipment have moved mounds of earth, and there are other signs of construction. The long-anticipated York Judicial Center project has begun. Workers have been on the site for approximately seven weeks, said Philip Johnston, the state of Maine s representative on the project, on Jan. 5.

Maine Woman In Trouble After Threatening Teen With A Gun According to Seacoast Current, the alleged incident happened on Route 9 B in Wells on Tuesday (December 29th) afternoon. According to law enforcement, 56 year old Regina T. Frias, of Berwick, allegedly followed a teenage driver into the parking lot of the Hampton Inn in Wells following a tailgating incident.  Frias then allegedly threatened the driver and her friend, a 17 year old female and a 19 year old female, verbally and with a firearm. The incident started when the teen, who was on her way to the hotel to pickup a friend, allegedly tailgated Frias down Rt 9B.  Eventually, the teen passed Frias, who then followed the teen to the hotel.  The teen s friend, a 19 year old female, got in the teen s car.  However, before they could leave, they were accosted by Frias.  The 19 year old then exited the vehicle and began shouting back at Frias.

Saco Police Photo SACO Two women are in custody and facing felony robbery charges after allegedly forcing another woman out of her car Friday morning and driving it to Biddeford, where they were caught and arrested. Saco Police Detective Sgt. Chris Hardiman said the female victim called police at 10:42 a.m. Friday and told them that two people had just forced her out of her car and drove it away. “The victim reported she was approached while sitting in her parked car on Cutts Avenue in Saco,” said Hardiman in a news release issued Monday morning. “The victim provided descriptions of the two subjects who had told her they had a weapon and demanded she get out of the car.”
