Rochester s Jerry DeLemus hopes for Trump pardon in final hours
ROCHESTER As the country waits for President Donald Trump to formally announce dozens of pardons Tuesday in the waning hours of his term, so too does the family of a New Hampshire man who is in prison for his role in the 2014 Bundy Ranch standoff.
According to his wife and state Rep. Sue DeLemus, R-Rochester, Gerald “Jerry” DeLemus hasn’t yet heard whether he’ll make a list USA Today reports could include upwards of 100 people.
“We’re still hoping, even at this moment,” Sue DeLemus said in a phone interview early Tuesday afternoon, stating “so many people are trying desperately to get to the president” to request clemency for her husband. “I just don’t know what’s going to happen.”
