YORK, Pa. York City Police have charged three teens in connection to a spree of armed robberies over several weeks in the city.
William Calderon, 16, Alexander Chamorro, 17, and Ethan Rosenboro, 14, all of York, have been charged after investigators linked together several robbery incidents with similar patterns, police say.
The three teens and a fourth suspect who has not yet been arrested would target people walking to and from work in the early morning hours across the city, according to police.
All three suspects in custody are being charged as adults in the case, police say. The fourth suspect remains at large.
3 teens charged in York robbery ring
Updated Apr 29, 2021;
York city police have arrested three teens in a string of robberies that they said were a part of a “concerning trend” last weekend.
Police said the robberies involved a group of four armed robbers who were targeting people as they were walking to and from work around the city in the early morning hours.
On Tuesday, police got images from surveillance camera footage that helped investigators identify at least one suspect, police said. Police worked with the York City School District to detain him. The suspect then helped identify the three others in the crew.
