Erie County Medical Center begins COVID-19 vaccinations for frontline workers

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Erie County Medical Center began administering the first COVID-19 vaccinations for their frontline workers on Wednesday.
The hospital says Stacey Forgensi a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at ECMC received the first vaccine, which was administered by Vanessa McDonough, a Licensed Practical Nurse in ECMCâs Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
ECMC says this is in accordance with CDC and New York State Department of Health Guidelines.
