Partial closure of northbound lanes to begin Monday on Interstate 481 in DeWitt Updated 9:18 PM; DeWitt, N.Y. The New York State Department of Transportation announced Friday that at least one lane will be closed on a stretch of Interstate 481 in DeWitt beginning Monday. The closures will be on northbound lanes between exits 3 (East Genesee Street) and 4 (I-690), according to a DOT news release. The lanes will be closed for up to four weeks while the Kinne Road bridge is repaired, according to the release. The right lane of the East Genesee Street westbound ramp to I-481 north will be closed as well, according to the release.

Cuomo today announced the start of construction at International Pier, a $9.5 million resiliency project funded through the Governor s Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative in the city of Oswego. The project will protect the deteriorating pier and convert the historic structure into a pedestrian-friendly open space that is connected to the city s walking trail system. Years of flooding on Lake Ontario devastated communities along the shoreline and the local economies that depend on the waterfront to drive tourism every year,
