ActionAid UK names new CEO

ActionAid UK has recruited Frances Longley as its next chief executive.
Longley joins the charity, which supports women and girls impacted by poverty, next month. She was most recently executive director for programmes and policy at CARE International UK, where her focus included looking at issues around economic justice for women.
She is also a former communications and brand director and at Unicef UK and ex-chief executive of Amref Health Africa.
