Nashville singer-songwriter, Jeff Black, will play a virtual concert at the Me&Thee on Friday, April 16. Jeff is a songwriter’s songwriter; his songs have been covered by Alison Krauss, Waylon Jennings, Sam Bush, John Oates, and Jerry Douglas. According to Folk and Acoustic Music Exchange, Black is “one of those wonderful seemingly unassuming riches that kind of sneaks its way into your consciousness and won’t leave.”

Gloucester church partners with local stores to collect socks and underwear for Cape Ann families in need

The church organized drop boxes for underwear and sock donations at Nelsonâs of Gloucester and the John Tarr Store, which is in Rockport, the organization said.
The stores are offering a âbuy-one, get half-offâ pricing promotion on socks and underwear. âWhen money is tight in pandemic times, these essentials can sadly fall to the bottom of the list,â the church said in a flyer advertising the drive.
