OLIVEHURST, Calif. - Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of an Olivehurst man after his body was discovered by officials on Wednesday, the Yuba County Sheriff s Office said.
The body was discovered just before noon in the 4400 block of Fleming Way in Olivehurst when deputies arrived on the scene to conduct a welfare check.
A concerned neighbor called the police after months went by with no signs of her neighbor.

6:15 p.m. update:
The Quail Fire, which burned 35 acres of land, was started by the grinding and welding of metal fencing on dry grass, according to Cal Fire.
Cal Fire tweeted the cause of the contained fire Wednesday afternoon.

Quail Fire: Evacuation warning for part of Browns Valley in Yuba County lifted
UPDATE: The Quail Fire that broke out in Yuba County is now contained and the Evacuation Warning has been lifted, according to the Yuba County Sheriff s Office.
