City of Milford Health Department Partners with Yale to Expand COVID-19 Vaccination Capacity

Written by Justin Rosen The City of Milford Health Department (MHD) is currently partnering with the CT Department of Public Health to provide COVID-19 vaccine as it is available in accordance with State guidelines.  The MHD has held seven (7) COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Parsons Government Complex Gymnasium since December when vaccine distribution began in Connecticut.  Milford Health Department COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics operate on Wednesdays all day and Friday afternoons with registration through the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS). To increase access to COVID-19 vaccine locally, Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) will utilize the City of Milford Health Department vaccine clinic site to provide vaccines at the Parsons Government Center Gymnasium on days when the Health Department is not operating its clinic.  “The supply of vaccine at this time does not meet the demand, so it will take time for everyone to be vaccinated.  As the State expand

The city s health department currently partners with the Connecticut Department of Public Health to provide the COVID-19 vaccine as it s available in accordance with state guidelines. The Milford Health Department has held seven COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Parsons Government Complex Gymnasium since vaccine distribution began in December, according to a news release.

2 Coronavirus Vaccination Sites Open In New London

All vaccinations are by appointment only and can be made now on the YNHHS website. More appointments are being added as vaccine is made available to ensure that there is sufficient supply for all scheduled patients. Two vaccination sites are scheduled to open in New London at NEMG at 194 Howard St. and Mitchell College at De Biasi Drive. The NEMG site will open Thursday and the Mitchell College site will open Wednesday, Jan. 27.
