To date, 99 total cases have been linked to the hospital, including 14 patients, 45 secondary cases, 34 healthcare staff and 6 visitors. Currently, there are 3 patients with COVID-19, including one receiving intensive care. This is a small increase from 97 cases reported last Friday (Feb.12). Janna-Lea Yawney, the Interim Director of Acute Care for the Yorkton area, says the outbreak in the Intensive Care Unit that was first declared January 17 was lifted on Saturday (Feb. 13). “We were very excited,” Yawney said of learning the ICU outbreak was officially declared over.
