FOXBORO, M.A. (WLNE) Seventy-six healthcare workers from across New England will be attending Superbowl LV this weekend, courtesy of Patriots owner, Robert Kraft.
All 76 guests have already been vaccinated. They will be transported to and from the big game in Tampa Bay via the Patriots team jet.
“I was just flooded with emotions,” said Holley Tucker, a nurse who has been working the Covid-19 field hospital at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
“My whole body started shaking and I was in disbelief,” she said of the phone call letting her know she’s going.
Joining Tucker is Bill McGuire, normally a nurse at Kent Hospital, who has been working the Cranston field hospital since it opened.
