One gets life term for rape in Rangpur 388 RANGPUR, Jan 24, 2021 (BSS) – A court here today sentenced a man to life term rigorous imprisonment and fined him Taka 25,000 for raping a 13-year old girl 12 years ago in the city. Judge of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-1 of Rangpur Md Zabid Hussaine handed down the sentence in his courtroom in presence of the convict. The convict is Aynul Haque, son of Amjad Hossain of Madhya Binnatari area in the city. In brief, the prosecution says the victim of the same area went to a bamboo bush near her house at around 8 pm to respond to the call of nature on March 10, 2009 when rapist Aynul forcefully raped her.
