UPDATE: Missing Woman With Dementia LOCATED Jan 13, 2021 at 03:36 pm by WGNS
(MURFREESBORO) Rutherford County emergency responders were on the lookout for a missing woman who has dementia on Tuesday night.
Deborah Alsup, 67, was reported missing at about 9 p.m. Tuesday from her Lebanon Highway home.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol searched in their helicopter while Sheriff’s K-9s looked for her on foot. Rutherford County Fire Rescue firefighters also helped in search efforts by using their drone.
On Tuesday, the Rutherford County Sheriff s Office confirmed, Deborah Alsup was reunited with her family this morning in Rutherford County. We are grateful this story turned out well.

(MURFREESBORO) Around 12:30 Saturday afternoon (1/2/2021) a 911 call was received about a home fire on Asbury Lane. First units on the scene reported heavy smoke and flames already coming through the front door. 54-year old Lloyd Chisholm was killed and three others were taken to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Chief Larry Farley told NewsRadio WGNS . . .
Rutherford County Fire Rescue Captain Matthew Lupo said, The structure was already from a quarter to 50 percent involved when we arrived. Most of the fire seemed to be on the back side of the structure.”
Police calls
The Rutherford County Sheriffâs Office received 125 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police received 59 calls; Spindale police processed 62 calls; Rutherfordton police received 18 calls; Lake Lure police processed 6 calls; Rutherford County EMS processed 50 calls; Rescue processed 19 calls.
Fire calls
Forest City firefighters were called to a motor vehicle accident and a structure fire; Hudlow firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident.
Arrests
Christian Fortenberry, of Mooresboro, was arrested for assault on female, injury to personal property, first degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation and larceny of motor vehicle; no bond.
Addie Browning, of Rutherfordton, was arrested for failure to appear; $50 bond.
