The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) said Thursday that a child in the Rappahannock Area Health District died from complications of COVID-19.  The health district covers the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. The child was younger than 10, and the child s death is the second in that particular age group in the state.
