Dubai Media Office The first phase of Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in the Egyptian capital Cairo has been completed under the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
The new heart centre offers free cardiovascular treatment to patients across the Arab world and will cater to over 120,000 patients annually.
It also will conduct 12,000 cardiac surgeries besides training 1,500 cardiologists and cardiac surgeons through the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honoured the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre as the Arab Hope Makers’ Humanitarian Cause of the Year during the final ceremony that crowned Arab Hope Makers in February 2020.

Dubai to host global humanitarian summit in March
DUBAI, February 23, 2021 The 17th edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition- DIHAD, the leading humanitarian gathering in the region, will be held from March 15 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
