WWE Reportedly Looking to Launch Lucha Libre Program

Reports of WWE looking to expand its developmental system to other countries have been popping up online for well over a year, with the latest being that NXT India in early 2021. On Monday
Wrestling Inc. dropped a new report about another brand that is on the horizon, this one centering around Lucha libre in Mexico.
After dubbing the project, NXT Mexico of sorts, Raj Giri reported, The show would reportedly air in the U.S. WWE has spoken with a few people about running the project, but it is very early on in the planning stages. One of the names being considered as a consultant on the project is Chavo Guerrero Jr.
WWE Raw Legends Night: Every Legend Announced for Jan. 4 Special

WWE announced during this week s Monday Night Raw that the Jan. 4, 2021 episode will have a special theme Raw: Legends Night. The show will center around stars from the past returning to the Red Brand, headlined by Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. The company did a similar show, the Raw Reunion, back in July 2019 and managed to bring in an average audience of more than three million fans. That show was headlined by Hogan and Flair as well, but also had Stone Cold Steve Austin present to close out the show.
Alexa Bliss Returns to WWE Raw, Offers an Update on The Fiend
Randy Orton strutted his way to the ring at the top of TLC on Sunday night. Orton gloated about his victory, saying he enjoyed every second of his victory before repeatedly stating that The Fiend is no more. Suddenly the lights started to flicker and eventually cut to black but instead of The Fiend appearing, Alexa Bliss was back playing on a swing set. She named the setup Alexa s Playground, then cracked a few jokes about what happened to the Fiend.
She then explained that The Fiend had simply returned home to the layers underneath the ground. But she then said that once he decides to come back, it will be like nothing Orton has ever seen before.
Shelton Benjamin Dedicates his WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Win to Shad Gaspard

Shelton Benjamin captured the Raw Tag Team Championships alongside Cedric Alexander at the TLC pay-per-view on Sunday night, giving The Gold Standard his first tag team title reign in WWE since The World s Greatest Tag Team s last reign in 2003. Shortly after the match Benjamin took to Instagram to dedicate the victory to Shad Gaspard, a former WWE star who tragically passed away at the age of 39 earlier this year. This ones for you Shad, Benjamin wrote, posting an old photo of himself with Gaspard.

WWE TLC: The Hurt Business Capture the Raw Tag Team Championships

Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin finally captured the Raw Tag Team Championships on Sunday night at WWE s TLC pay-per-view. The pair had tried and failed for weeks to dethrone the 10-time tag team champions, but fortunes finally turned when Alexander tagged himself in and nailed Kofi Kingston with the Lumbar Check. Xavier Woods had been taken out of action moments earlier after Benjamin hit his Paydirt finisher.
The win now gives The Hurt Business another set of championships to their name, and gives Benjamin his first reign as a tag team champion in WWE in 17 years. His last reign took place when he was one-half of the World s Greatest Tag Team with Charlie Haas.
