Conservatives in America demonize George Soros for
funding the Democratic Party and U.S.-imperialistic (or
“neo-conservative”) international organizations, but
he’s actually just a part of a network of around a
thousand or so global aristocrats or billionaires who do
this. Furthermore, within the individual U.S.-and-allied
nations, the billionaires who fund all of the domestic
political parties do the same thing in their own way; and,
in the United States, a different billionaire, the
conservative Charles Koch, is a mega-donor to Republican
politicians and is demonized by Democratic Party voters much
like Soros is demonized by America’s Republican Party

A new financial sector climate change initiative unveiled Wednesday included notable absences from Wall Street, raising questions about whether some of the biggest U.S. banks will follow through on sweeping sustainability pledges.
JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo weren’t among the initial signatories for the so-called Net-Zero Banking Alliance, even though counterparts Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Citigroup enlisted. The banking group is part of the broader Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero chaired by former Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, now the UN Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance.

With retail spaces across New York sitting empty due to pandemic-related business closures, the local non-profit EcoArt Project has announced a new initiative to fill these vacant storefronts with free popup exhibitions focusing on climate change and sustainability. Working with another New York non-profit, Chashama, to find the spaces, EcoArt Project launched the programme Rebound-NYC on 25 March with a solo show of works by Alex Nero near Bryant Park. The next, larger iteration runs from 15-27 April (coinciding with Earth Day on 22 April) near Union Square and will be the first group exhibition with work by five artists Cicely Carew, Sam Nester, Hara Woltz, Stephen Mallon, and Peter Gerakaris all centred on issues of environmentalism and climate change.
