(Shutterstock) BRENTWOOD, NH The Rockingham County Sheriff s Office announced on Friday that it was investigating the death of a Massachusetts man in custody at the county jail on April 30. Mark Frederick Zraket, 54, of East Boston, Massachusetts, was arrested around 11 p.m. on April 29 on a fugitive from just warrant out of Massachusetts as well as felony car theft and possession of a controlled drug charges. Around 11 a.m., police were notified of a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu sedan from the LaQuinta Inn on Keewaydin Drive in Salem. Police put out an alert on the stolen vehicle, according to Capt. Jason Smith of the Salem Police Department, with Zraket as a suspect. Later in the day, a bank in Medford, MA, was robbed and police in that city chased the suspect s car, a

Officials: Pilot killed, 2 others on board injured after Duke Energy helicopter crashes in Eden

Greensboro News & Record EDEN — Two men escaped from a fiery Duke Energy helicopter crash here Wednesday afternoon, but their pilot died when the Bell 429 aircraft went down in a wooded area near the Dan River Combined Cycle Station. Officials had not released the names of the men, all employed by Duke Energy, as of 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. The two injured passengers were rescued by emergency personnel and one remained at UNC Rockingham Health Care here where he was listed in fair condition, a hospital spokesperson said. The second passenger was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and his health status was not known, Rodney Cates, director of Rockingham County Emergency Services, said at a press conference around 3:30 p.m.
