With 209 new virus cases, the state s total has risen to 209,035 cases since the pandemic began. The latest report also raises Oregon s death toll to 2,781. The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across Oregon is currently 132. Of those, there are 28 virus patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, according to the OHA. Earlier Friday, health officials announced that Oregon had reached a milestone in its vaccination efforts: 70% of adults have received at least one dose of a vaccine. Reaching the benchmark comes two days after the governor lifted the state s coronavirus restrictions.
