Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Monday lashed out at the Congress-led Rajasthan Government after they claimed that there was a shortage of COVID-19 vaccine doses in the state, calling the incident the Rahul Gandhieization of Congress. Questioning whether they would now demand a Ministry of Vaccination ( a dig at Rahul Gandhi s Ministry of Fisheries demand), Shekhawat lashed out at the Ashok Gehlot-led government for their misleading statements on the shortage of vaccines.
Second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to be administered in Rajasthan from February 15
Under this, those beneficiaries who were given the first dose of the vaccine on January 16, will be administered the second dose.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma said on Sunday the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine will be administered in the state from Monday.
Sharma said an action plan has been prepared for the vaccination.
Under this, those beneficiaries who were given the first dose of the vaccine on January 16, will be administered the second dose.
In addition to this, beneficiaries of the Social Justice and Empowerment and the Agriculture departments will be administered the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, he said in a statement.

Jaipur, Jan 16 : A 93-year-old medical practitioner along with the principal of SMS hospital here were among the first beneficiaries to be inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine in Rajasthan on Saturday.
The nonagenarian P.C. Dandiya and the principal Sudhir Bhandari got the first shots of the vaccine on the opening day of the inoculation exercise.
Addressing the kick-off of the first phase of Covid vaccination drive virtually at 161 centres across the state, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Rajasthan will make a mark in the inoculation drive in the same way it had contained the infection spread in the state.
New Delhi: Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma has recently made a big statement about the corona vaccine. We have about 4 in the first phase of vaccination in the state, he said in his statement. 5 lakh people are expected to be vaccinated. Not only that, but he also said, So far we have trained more than 18,000 people. He said these things in the media. He said, committees have been constituted at the level of Chief Secretary on the vaccine. All kinds of training have been imparted. There are 3 state-level, 7 division level, 34 district level vaccine stores of Kovid vaccine stores in the state and 2444 cold pan points are functional at community and primary health centres and 53659 locations and 18634 vaccinators have been selected for vaccination.
