Jodhpur (Rajasthan) [India], May 30 (ANI): The Jodhpur district administration organized a vaccination camp for Pakistani Hindu refugees in the Kali Beri area on Saturday to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the state government based on a petition seeking Rs 5 lakh for the patients of mucormycosis or black fungus. The court has asked the government to submit its reply by June 28.
A division bench of Justice Sabina and Justice MK Vyas was hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by advocate Siddhartha Jain, seeking to know what preparations the state government has made to tackle black fungus. Black fungus damages organs of patients. I have asked what compensation has the government decided to provide such patients. A compensation of 5,00,000 rupees from the state government has been sought for patients suffering from black fungus, Siddhartha Jain, Petitioner advocate, mentioned.

Jaipur, May 21 : The Rajasthan High Court on Friday dismissed the interim bail plea of Asaram Bapu, the controversial self-styled godman who is serving a life sentence in connection with a rape case,
Asaram, who tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago, had pleaded for a two-month interim bail seeking to undergo Ayurvedic style of treatment in Kerala.
On his petition, the High Court had asked the Jodhpur AIIMS to submit a thorough medical report.
The High Court bench comprising Judge Sandeep Mehta and Judge Devendra Kachhawah dismissed Asaram s petition on Friday.

The Rajasthan High Court on Friday sought the response of the Centre and the state government on a petition challenging the different prices of anti-coronavirus vaccines and alleging mismanagement of the COVID-19 situation.
The petition also stated that the different prices announced for procurement of vaccines for the central government, states and private hospitals violated the fundamental and constitutional rights of citizens.
Covishield, which is being manufactured by the Pune-based Serum Institute of India, is priced at Rs 150 a dose for the Centre, Rs 400 a dose for state governments and Rs 600 a dose for private hospitals.
