CHILDREN requiring treatment at Warrington Hospital can arrive in style thanks to a selection of electric ride-on cars. Staff at energy supplier Utilita’s Warrington office have gifted the vehicles to give young patients receiving critical care a chance to get in the fast lane. Little ones will be able to ride in the cars in dedicated breakout areas and use them to get to and from their treatment sessions. The donation follows the gifting of two cars to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth late last year, and as they were so well received, Utilita wanted to extend the donation to other hospitals across the UK.
