(WJTV) – Six schools in Mississippi have earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science A (CSA) and / or AP Computer Science Principles (CSP). Schools that have been awarded the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access to AP computer science courses.

Show Transcript INVESTIGATION STARTED AFTER SOMEONE THREATENED TO CARRY OUT A SCHOOL SHOOTING AT BRANDON MIDDLE SCHOOL BRANDON POLICE SAY THEY WERE ALERTED ABOUT THIS THREAT ON TUESDAY NIGHT INVESTIGATORS SAY THEY INTERVIEWED SEVERAL PEOPLE. THEY SAY THEY FOUND THE PERSON THEY BELIEVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THREATS, AND NOW THIS CASE HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO YOUTH COURT. SPOKE TO NUMEROUS PEOPLE WAS ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PERSON THAT THE THREATS CAME FROM YOUTH COURT WAS CONTACTED AND HE HAS& BEEN OUT THERE THIS MORNING SPEAKING WITH YOU COURT JUDGE BURN. BRANDON POLICE SAY IT’S IMPORTANT TO REPORT ANY KIND OF SCHOOL THREAT IMMEDIATELY.
