Poll: Should Android implement an Apple-like App Tracking Transparency feature?

Apple just released iOS 14.5 with a much-debated privacy feature App Tracking Transparency. For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, the feature gives iPhone users much more control over how apps track them across the web and apps from other companies.
Each app that requests tracking data will show up under a dedicated tracking menu. This will give iPhone users a choice to toggle on or off tracking permissions for individual apps. If users opt out of app tracking, Apple will revoke the app’s access to its Identifier For Advertisers (IDFA). This will restrict the app from sharing data about user activity with third parties for ad-targeting purposes.

Smartphone battery sizes have only gone up in the past few years thanks to displays, processors, and features that require more power. We now have devices with massive battery capacities ranging all the way up to a whopping 10,000mAh. Of course phones like those are still a rare exception, but it’s not hard to find devices with near 5,000mAh or above battery sizes. So we thought of conducting a poll on our website, asking our readers to tell us just how big of a battery their current phone has. Here are the results of that poll.
60W wired charging is the fastest option but not by a huge margin. It took 31 minutes to fully charge the OnePlus 9 Pro, only mere minutes faster than the 39 minutes using the latest 50W wireless charging option. 20% more power only nets an 8-minute improvement to charge times, which doesn’t feel like a lot. Although interestingly enough, a 20% increase in charging power nets exactly a 20% reduction in charging times here.
Overall there’s only a small difference for total charge times between these two, which is a testament to just how powerful OnePlus’ wireless charging technology has become. Both also have you comfortably back on your feet with even just a 15-minute charge. Clocking in at 60% and 42% charge after just a quarter of an hour, respectively.
