It will advise provinces that a first shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine can be followed by a Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, CBC News reports. Those who have started with Moderna and Pfizer can also switch between the two, as they both use similar mRNA technology. The decision is based on early research from the U.K. and Spain.
