LUMBERTON A Lumber Bridge man is being sought in a 2008 home invasion slaying, Robeson County officials said Tuesday evening.
James Roscoe McAllister, 30, is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony conspiracy and second-degree kidnapping in the June 25, 2008, killing of Daniel Bullard, according to a news release from the Robeson County Sheriff s Office.
Bullard, 23, was shot and killed during a home invasion and robbery at his Shannon home. According to the initial report, Bullard, his 22-year-old girlfriend and their infant child were preparing for bed at about 11:40 p.m. when four men entered the home with firearms. In addition to shooting Bullard, the intruders stole property from the residence. the release said. The suspects then fled. Bullard’s girlfriend and child were not injured.

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WMBF) – The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday it has identified a suspect who is wanted in connection to a deadly home invasion from more than a decade ago.
James McAllister, 30, of Lumber Bridge is wanted on several charges including murder, robbery and second-degree kidnapping.
Back in June 2008, authorities said 23-year-old Daniel Bullard was shot and killed when four men burst into his home. Investigators said Bullard’s 22-year-old girlfriend and their infant child were also in the home. The two were not hurt.
