Andhra MP, who criticised CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and asked court to cancel his bail, arrested for sedition Ashish Pandey
The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of the Andhra Pradesh Police on Friday arrested YSR Congress Party MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju on charges of sedition.
The MP was arrested from his residence in Hyderabad on his birthday on Friday. The Narsapuram MP was booked under sections 124A (sedition), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups), 505 (incite, any class or community of persons to commit any offence) read with 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
