Since he officially requested a trade from the Houston Texans, quarterback Deshaun Watson has generated a lot of interest from teams around the NFL looking to acquire his services. But according to reports, the New York Giants are one team not interested in calling the Texans about Watson.
According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, who spoke on the Breaking Big Blue podcast, the Giants won’t be looking for a potential replacement for starting quarterback Daniel Jones, whether it is Watson or any other signal-caller. The Giants organization has previously spoken positively about the 23-year-old Jones, but not trading for a three-time Pro Bowler in Watson or any other quarterback speaks to their faith in the former Duke Blue Devil.
