The lone player not on the field, second year cornerback Jeff Gladney. Gladney finds himself in the midst of an investigation after allegedly assaulting a 22-year old woman last April. Gladney turned himself in to Dallas police following the situation and little has been said since then. Yesterday, as he met the press to kick off Training Camp, Vikings general manager Rick Spielman declined to comment on Gladney s situation or status for Training Camp saying only that it was an ongoing legal matter .
