Our Unified Effort Will Make All The Difference
Richland County, OH The Richland County Unified Messaging Team has launched the “Count On Me Richland County”campaign in an effort to keep the Richland County community up-to-date about COVID-19 facts, suggested guidelines, updates, local impact and ways to support ourselves and each other as we all work to CANCEL COVID in our community.
Lead by Dr. Julie Chaya at Richland Public Health, the Richland County Unified Messaging Team includes area leaders and communication experts from Destination Mansfield-Richland County, DRM Productions, Integrity Project Management, OhioHealth Mansfield, Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development, and the Richland County Foundation combining their resources to serve Richland County in this unusual time.
MANSFIELD â Kathy Shambre said her company became a âstarâ with the 2020 Small Business of the Year Award.
Her business, Debt Recovery Solutions of Ohio, won the honor of the 15-and-more employee category on Wednesday. The winner for the 14-and-less employee category was DRM Productions Inc.
The awards ceremony was hosted by the Richland Area Chamber and Economic Development and live-streamed on its Facebook page due to the pandemic. Â Â
Chamber President and CEO Jodie Perry said DRS of Ohio takes great care of its employees and is actively involved in the community. The company has prospered in the area for nearly 20 years and âshown no signs of slowing down.â Â
New Little Buckeye
Proposed plans for the conjoined buildings at 166 and 174 Park Avenue West, Â the home of the Renaissance Education Center and Little Buckeye Children s Museum, respectively. Most of the construction at the education center is complete; Little Buckeye s new location is slated for completion in 2021. 1 of 3
The budget includes $1 million from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission for the Imagination District s expansion, a collaboration between the Little Buckeye Children s Museum and Renaissance Theatre to allow for additional local arts and education programming.Â
The bill is expected to be voted on by the legislature on Thursday. It s a huge shot in the arm to help us on the campaign, said Fred Boll, executive director of Little Buckeye Children s Museum. We can t thank Mark Romanchuk and Larry Obhof enough for making this happen. Both were players in bringing this to a possibility.
